I love the Jolly weddings! There's always top entertainment!

Nikki is Jenny's younger sister and I was the lucky guy who photographed
Jenny and Ashish's wedding last year, my first ever Hindu wedding!

I really missed these guys and their ability to put on an awesome show:

Raveena is the last Jolly sister left, but hold your horses boys! She's still young:

I think we can officially rename Edmonton - Edmontolywood.

Parm and his brothers are doing the Jaago:

Nikki's auntie came all the way from India for the wedding and she told me she was a regular visitor of this blog. She is checking it out every time she wants to know what's going on in Edmonton. Thank you so much:

Mehndi party:

Well, we're at the Jolly house, so this is what you can see on the walls:

Here I ''accidentally'' got in the background a canvas that
brings back memories:

I swear this is not staged! They didn't even know I was taking a picture. And yes, that's the
Willow Paper Works album Jenny and Ashish ordered for their parents:

I couldn't have paid better models to do this:
Jeeya came by to say hi, too! She's seven months young now:

Guess what else I found on the fridge! I'm not talking about Snow-White:

Next day starts with a few pictures in front of the house:

A few rice decorations make all the difference:

Maiya ceremony - what's not to like?

The priest is setting up for the choora ritual:

He's ready:

Lord Ganesha is one of the most loved in Hinduism:

We need more roses:

The first time I see this. The bride to be is leaving her hand prints for posterity:

One more push and the wedding bangles are in:

This is what happens here: The unmarried girls sit in a circle and Nikki is shaking the blingy-goldy (I think that's the technical term) things tied to her wrists over each one of them. If one of the blingy-goldy things falls on your head, you can already hire your photographer because you're getting married next year:

And the winner is:

Another Jaago party in the evening:
