From my experience so far, the Muslim parties are more on the sober side.
This one had an interesting twist for me as while I was hired by the bride to be, the groom brought another photographer to do the same thing:
Almaymoon's family is welcomed by the bride's family. They bring gifts in the form of sweets:

The ring ceremony is short and exciting:
Everybody is congratulating the couple by giving them an envelope (I'm not sure what's in it), sweets and sorbet:
The advice from grandpa is well received, too:
Lunch. The butter chicken is to die for. Ioana almost did, because she ate too much.
