It felt like my birthday party, but it was - actually - their wedding and I got an invitation:
Sara is getting ready in her hotel room, at Four Points Sheraton:
Her sister - Michelle - spends quite some time underneath her dress:
Jessica - the flower girl:
Here comes the bride:
The ceremony is so different than what I'm used to. There's no milni or anything like that.
The rings:
And the kiss. Somebody is going to have to explain Jessica what's going on:
First time I see this ritual and I like it! It symbolizes that the couple is becoming one person and they can never go back to being two:
Both receive a rose which they offer each other as the first gift as a married couple:
Mr. and Mrs:
One our way to the portrait session we have to stop for refreshments:
The boys are happy to do the shopping for once:
Next stop - Sara's grandparents' farm:
It's the first time I'm doing it on a farm and I love it!
Gareth is a popular guy and Sara goes through a little trouble to get him just for herself:
But it's worth it:
And I score:

Sense. This picture doesn't really make one. That's why I like it:
I'm telling you, the farm is awesome:
But we have to head back in town for the party:
Sara and Gareth used some of the photos from our engagement session very creatively:
Trevor - the MC - is pretty funny:

Cutting of the giant cupcake:
Here's the part where I'm being overwhelmed! Like big time! At the beginning of their speech, Sara and Gareth - along with everyone else in the room - are singing 'Happy Birthday' to me:
First dance:
Second dance is for Sara, her sister and her mom:

The grandparents keep the party alive:
And they even take it to the next level:
There's a few rituals I haven't seen at East-Indian weddings and removal of the garter is one I will probably never see:
Although it's a very entertaining one:
Thank you so very much Sara and Gareth! Your wedding made my birthday extremely special and it was an honor to share it with you! What are the plans for next year?
