Aliya & Aleem - All Cooked Up, With Some Places To Go

Everything starts in a civilized way at Aliya's home:
The Henna artist - Abeer - is very fast.
 Everybody is impressed:

The Pithi ceremony is the most gentle and includes showers of golden petals:
Aliya even has her hand kissed:
Exactly the same thing happens to Aleem. Same ingredients:
 And some secret ones:

 Before:
As I said, 'exactly the same thing happens to Aleem', except not.
After:
 In between:
The white cream is supposed to make his skin fair and smooth:
Aleem's aunties don't want to miss a spot:
But I'm pretty sure nobody is gonna check the skin smoothness in that area:
And I've been to enough weddings to know the sorbet is not going there:
 Or there:
Honest mistake! But at least he's aiming to the right orifice:
When you're in need, you can count on your brother to give you a hand. Full of salsa. Right in your face:
 Things get out of control:
The future groom's food intolerances might have doubled in number after this gourmet ritual:
Who needs enemies when you have really close friends and family that do this to you:
 There's some collateral damage:
Aleem had to be taken outside the building. Good thing the smell can't be shown in images:
Nighty-night:
Next evening the Nirvana restaurant is ready for another party:
Lots of gifts are carried in:
Including a big one for Aliya:

We sneak out for a few shots:
Due to his unlike-groom spontaneity, I might have to hire Aleem for other weddings and events:

The culinary celebrations are almost over, but you should come back for the wedding day and reception! Aleem is unstoppable!
