Linda & Ahmad - All the Reasons to Dance

Linda:  "Timing is everything........ My girlfriend planted the seed about Ahmad about a year before the night that the connection became real.  I had been introduced to him at a few events in the past year before we finally met again on September 2, 2011 where my girlfriend set-up a casual evening with friends.  From that night forward, my life changed forever and we were inseparable.  When its meant to be its meant to be.........and timing is everything!"
Ahmad:  "We found ourselves overlooking Lake Minnewanka on a cool November afternoon.  Linda was standing on a large boulder gazing over the natural beauties of the Rocky Mountains.  I felt my moment had arrived and I reached for the ring from my left pocket and fell naturally to one knee.  Linda turned around, became overcome with emotions as I professed my love to the woman of my dreams......She said YES!"
The celebrations start early at Linda's house:
Her mom is cheering up everybody:
Ioana has a new haircut and some new moves:
The music is really good, she just doesn't know it yet:
 The bride is ready:
Just waiting for the Hulk. I mean the groom:

According to tradition, her sister welcomes him with the boutonnière:
Another warm welcome from the bride's mother. The customary 3 kisses:
But Ahmad is really excited to see his wife-to-be:
Which is another great reason to start dancing:
That's love, if you ask me:

 Lebanese food!
At first I used a plate, too. But then I realized I was wasting time.
 We're on our way:
Interesting enough, the formal photo shoot is another reason to break it down:
It's time for the traditional Harlem Shake:

Cocktail hour at Phoenicia Lebanese Restaurant:
 Drinks pour everywhere:
And they come in all shapes and colors:
 Some more appealing than others:

The couple of the hour shows up:

From the hundreds of languages I don't speak, Arabic is one of them, so I can't tell you what exactly is going on:
Once again, dancing seems very appropriate:

I was salivating so badly, I considered a rain cover for my camera:
My favorites were the chicken skewers with garlic sauce and potatoes:
A beautiful poem written for Linda's father:

The speech everybody was waiting for - Rita:

The first dance is always the best reason to ... dance:

And so is the party that follows:

It wouldn't be a Lebanese celebration without the hookah:

Congratulations one more time, Linda and Ahmad!  Thank you so much for a really amazing time!
Enjoy your honeymoon in Mexico!
