The date is January 1st, 2014. We are flying over the Hoover Dam straight into Grand Canyon National Park and I have a difficult time to imagine a better way to start the new year:
It's all part of the master plan of Megan and Sheku to do a sunset photo shoot in the Grand Canyon. Even though they got married last year, their love is still strong and gives wings to our helicopter:
Well, the master plan is a great one, but doesn't quite work. We land inside the canyon, just above the Colorado River:
And we spend only around 30 minutes there before we take off again, Las Vegas bound.
We get back after dark, but dark has a completely different meaning in the City of Lights:
It's nice and cold out so we decide to stick around for some more pictures:
