Lanna & Lance - Permanence

 Everybody's getting ready at Hotel Macdonald, so it's easy to get all the important shots of the boys and girls:

 Yes, the socks:

 The bestest man requires all the attention he can get:

 The ladies are in good shape, too:

 Now, that's how every bride should get ready. Holding on to their beer:

 Or wine:

 The dress is ready to go:

 The flowers, as well:

 And so is the beautiful St. Joseph Basilica in downtown Edmonton:

 Too bad there are so many restrictions on photographers.

 No artificial lighting, unless you're a guest with a compact camera, and then it's alright.

 No getting close.

Luckily, I was allowed to breath.

Permanence:

 We have a couple of hours to hide from the mid-day scorching sun:

The reception follows right away:

 As I'm about to learn, there are many ways to embarrass people when they are hungry. Vintage cellular phones:

 Crazy socks:

 The robot dance:

 Donkey tattoos:

 Push-ups:

 And a brand new game called 'Cowboy, Indian, Bear' that replaces the more lazy 'Rock, Paper, Scissors':

 But the food at the Mirage is worth all that and more:

 Plus, when there's an open bar, you tend to have an appetite.

 Can make all the girls cry:
