Nikki & Parm - Hindu/Sikh Wedding in Edmonton

The Sikh groom:
With accessories:
And the Hindu bride:With her accessories:
Ashish must have felt like in Disneyland during the milni ceremony. Parm's brothers put him through a lot of vertical loops, swirls and spins:
Parm is waiting for his bride to be:
And they walk four times around the Guru Granth Sahib:
Parveen made her official appearance on this blog last year, together with Joe, Parm's brother. She is responsible for quite a few of my weddings, including this one. Thank you so much for your constant support and for making your friends believe I'm the only photographer in the world:
Nanaksar Gurdwara has a very interesting inner balcony:
Just like Jenny's, last year, the doli ceremony was short and painless:
As usual , we have two portrait sessions, with the different outfits:
Sunita Sumaru does what she knows best:
Actually she's very good at folding chunnis, as well:
And voila:
The Engineering Faculty in the U of A is very dear to Parm. This is where he used to party. I mean study:
I've done so many weddings at the Mirage Banquet Hall, I feel at home! The two pictures on display can only help with that feeling: A true gentleman:
Let the show begin and the legal tenders fly:
The multi talented sisters - Richa and Radhika:
Ajay is good with the dhol:
And he's willing to teach everyone:
It can be quite lucrative:
It seems that I always catch up late with these things, but I think the theme of the reception was "lift me up and don't let go"
Not everyone practiced enough:
Ioana is doing her part! I know it's hard for her, but she never complains:
Thank you so much Nikki and Parm! You must be very popular as the previous post had a record number of visits: 602!
Congratulations!
