It's a beautiful day and it's about to get rather spectacular at Jasper Park Lodge in the Canadian Rockies, for my first wedding in a very long time.

After that, papa, as he likes me to call him, ties his own turban:
Now, he can carry in the Guru Granth Sahib Ji, the holy scripture of Sikhism, and the centerpiece of the marriage ceremony:
A painfully restricted bridal party of nine immediate family members makes its way outside, in the fairy-tale like decor:
Witnessed by the glorious Rocky Mountains, the Anand Karaj commences caressed by a delightful morning light.
Harpreet is in charge with the live broadcasting of the events to hundreds of friends and family members who don't have the possibility to be here, which only makes me more grateful that I can be a part of the celebration:
Flower garlands are exchanged by the newlyweds during the varmala ritual, a Hindu wedding custom:

For the first time at a wedding, Fairmont offers their newly restored classic limousine, which we temporarily trade for something more appropriate to take us around the golf course.
